Israel Trip

As I walked in the streets of Jerusalem, it felt like home.  It felt like Russia and South Africa.  It was only the land of My Lord that I am visiting, it felt like my land!

When we visited the Garden where the tomb of Jesus is, it was strangely void of visitors.  Usually the crowds stand in front of the grave, waiting for the five or six people taking photographs inside the grave to come out so that the next 5 or six can go in while the rest of the crowd takes turns to take photographs of the entrance to the grave.

But when we were there, there was no one.  So we went into the grave and sat down.  As I closed my eyes, I saw vision upon vision upon vision as I experienced part of what happened that day when Jesus arose from the dead.

I saw a huge minora (lampstand) rising up from the grave and the Lord said to me 'I arose as the Lampstand for the world.  I am the Light of the world'.

Then I saw a rams horn/shofar under the last curve of the minora.  I felt the Spirit saying 'That day I rose up as the King of Kings and the Lord of all, the Highest authority on heaven and on earth.  And from that moment the sound of victory of death was released over the heavens and the earth.

Then I saw and old fashioned brass scale with the ram's horn in it and the Lord said: 'And from that moment, every sound is weighed to see whether it releases the sound of hell or the sound of heaven.'  I realized every sound I make is weighed in heaven!

Then I saw an explosion of precious stones filling the heavens.  As they shot up into the atmosphere, they were turning and twirling, dancing and forming music notes and musical sounds as they move around.  Suddenly a road was blown between them from earth to heaven and Jesus said: 'I am the way to the Father'.

It was awesome to experience the amazing, powerful, beautiful glory that was released when Jesus arose from the dead!

I can never be the same after this experience!

Miracle!

As we drove from the airport to Pretoria after I arrived from Russia, I asked my friend to stop by the shop where I bought the Apple computer so that I can hand it in for repairs after half a glass of water was spilled over the keyboard.  They could fix it while I was in Israel, I thought.

The salesman in SA immediately recognized me, but hid his face in his hands with a 'oh no!' when I told him the tragic story of my computer.  He confirmed my fears that the motherboard will probably have to be replaced.  He asked me if there was any response when I switch the computer on, by which I showed him that only a small blue light came on ... and that's it!

We discussed the details, and as we were talking, a movement out of the corner of my eye caught my attention.  My computer started booting up and we watched in astonishment!  Neither of us could believe it!

For three days there was no reaction when I switched my computer on!

I walked out of the shop with my computer in my hands with the words of my Russian friend ringing in my ears 'Carol, don't worry about your computer, God said that it will be fine'.

Up till now I have been working on my computer without any problem!

I praise God for His faithfulness in the small and the big things!  And I repent for my lack of faith.  But I praise God for friends who could hear the voice of the Lord loud and clear and could speak it with confidence into my situation while I was weak.

All glory to the Lord!

Computer Crash!

Last night during our prayer meeting someone spilled water over my Apple computer which I bought 3 months ago and it of course crashed ... 2 days before returning to SA!  My previous computer crashed in December and it took me ages to get the new computer updated with everything!

Please pray for me because the cost of a new mother board is just about the same as the computer and they will not repair it under the guarantee.  My travel insurance company is also uncertain whether they will carry the costs.

God has called me to the media with the assignment that the 'Voice of the Bride needs to be louder than the voice of the world'.  Of course the enemy doesn't like this and launches his attack at critical times trying to break the momentum of God that we have been gaining here in Russia.

Please pray... I need encouragement...

The Wedding was Great!

The bride, Nastya, and bridegroom, Sasha, were beautiful and sooooo in love! They were very tired because they only went to bed after 05h00 in the morning after decorating the church.  But they never lost their joy and peace.  It is so great to see two people in love, starting a new life together, knowing that both of them love the Lord deeply.

Hugo married them and prayed for them together with their parents as they stood in a close circle. As Sasha blessed Nastya and she  blessed him, so sincerely from her heart, many eyes were filled with tears as the presence of the Holy Spirit was so strong.

Weddings are always a great opportunity to fellowship with mutual friends whom you haven't seen for ages.  I loved seeing Pasha again - the pastor of the first church we established in Moscow.  I haven't seen him for 5 years, but it was as if it was yesterday!  He is so full of fun and he engaged everyone in it.

On the photo to the right I am standing next to Pasha with Hugo standing next to him.

Vitali(photo left), the drummer of the worship team was there with his beautiful wife Lena and their 3 children.  The oldest son is 9 and their daughter is 7 and both of them already gave their hearts to the Lord and already speak in tongues since then - 2 years ago!  What a blessed new generation rising up in Russia!

I went to the wedding with my two precious friends who are moving to Scotland in July.  It is hard to think that they will not be around when I return to Russia, although I know that it is from the Lord that they move to Scotland.  We know that they will continue to minister in Russia as the Lord leads them, as it is only 3 hours flight from Scotland to Russia.

They are so precious to me and a great example of a GODLY marriage!  They loved me and cared for me in so many ways and we had so much fun together!  I love them so much!  Here is a photograph of Ala and Jonee:

In the duration of one week my feet will be in gateway cities of five different nations:
Russia, Arab Emirates, Ethiopia, South Africa, Jerusalem!

'Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord!
Psalm 33:12

'After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb'
Rev 7:9

Wedding

Today I am going to Nastya and Sasha's wedding! I love weddings because every wedding points prophetically to Jesus our Bridegroom God Who will come to fetch His Bride, the church. Marriage is a Godly institution and not a worldly institution and therefor it is prophetic in nature.

Only in love you will know the truth, because God is Love and He is Truth. The beauty of every wedding is that man and woman look at each other through love, therefor through God's eyes and they see the beauty and potential of God in each other. The challenge however, is to preserve that truth in your heart and allow the Holy Spirit to expand on it rather than break it down and replace it with lies.

I challenge you today to ask the Lord to restore His truth in your heart about your beloved one and I challenge you even further to respond to that truth. 'The truth sets you free' and will it will bring a new freedom in your relationship again.
